Motion
A new brand identity for the biggest font foundry in the world. Instead of relying on brand fonts and colors, an approach was taken in a deliberately opposite direction, featuring work from Monotype’s multivariate and talented typographers. Animation, letterhead & collateral, OOH ads, & book design were all explorations into what happens when brand rules are broken.
Kinetic typography and variation in fonts were an obvious choice for the identity, weaving through each piece of the design to inform the overall look and feel.
